5.9-magnitude earthquake strikes near Almaty

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - A 5.9-magnitude earthquake has been recorded by a group of seismological stations on the border of Afghanistan and Tajikistan on Tuesday morning.
The quake hit 810 kilometers southwest of Almaty city at 4:07 a.m. Almaty time. It had a depth of 100 kilometers. No casualties or damages were reported.
