10th International Eurasia Film Festival starts in Almaty

ALMATY. KAZINFORM - The 10th International Eurasia Film Festival kicked off in Almaty city at the Palace of Republic on Monday (September 15).
Asanali Ashimov, Zhan Baizhanbayev, Zhanna Kuanysheva, Assel Sagatova, Assylkhan Tolepov, Aziz Beishenaliyev, Berik Aitzhanov and other stars of national film industry showed up for the opening night. Set to run from 15 till 20 September, the festival will celebrate the 100th anniversary of Kazakhstani director Shaken Aimanov. 12 dramas of Japanese, Iraqi, South Korean, Israeli, Estonian, Albanian, Icelandic, Russian, French, Croatian, Iranian and Kazakhstani filmmakers were included into the competition film line-up of the 2014 Eurasia Film Festival.
