Young woman hit by drug addict on crosswalk dies

ALMATY. May 29. KAZINFORM A drug addict on Opel car hit a young woman on crosswalk to death in Almaty yesterday, Almaty police press service reports.
The 32-year-old driver of Opel car was in a state of narcotic intoxication and not able to slow down. As a result of the accident, 31-year-old woman died of open brain injury right on the spot. Witnesses of the accident say the Opel driver didn't lessen the speed.
The state of narcotic intoxication was confirmed by experts. The driver didn't deny the fact and was taken to the police station.
