Day 8 of the tournament will feature four group-stage matches as teams in Groups A and B continue their campaigns.

The action gets underway in Group A, where Czechia will take on South Africa at 9:00 pm Astana time. Both sides will be looking for their first points of the tournament after suffering defeats in their opening matches.

In Group B, Switzerland will face Bosnia and Herzegovina at 12:00 am Astana time. Three hours later, Canada will take on Qatar in another key encounter as the teams seek to strengthen their chances of reaching the knockout stage.

The day's final match will see Mexico face the Republic of Korea in a Group A clash at 6:00 am Astana time. Both teams opened their World Cup campaigns with victories and will be aiming to move closer to qualification for the round of 32.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup is being hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico and will run through July 19.
