The development of national mountain skiing resorts was in the focus of the conference. In particular, the participants touched upon the strategic perspectives of such resorts, the latest global trends and regional market, and successful experience of the world's leading ski resorts.

Currently, there are around 2 000 ski resorts across the globe. Located mostly in the U.S., western Europe and Japan, these resorts are highly profitable. At the same time due to specific ecological, structure and market problems, skiing lovers are constantly looking for new destinations and innovative products, the meeting noted.

The most successful examples of ski resort projects abroad were presented at the conference. The experts talked about the best practices in the implementation of new models of business and partnership in that sphere.

The goal of this two-day conference is to overview the international market of mountain skiing tourism, discuss the problems of its sustainable growth, and exchange hands-on experience, the organizers say.
