Variety of Indian goods on display in Almaty
ALMATY. February 25. KAZINFORM The Atakent Expo Complex in Almaty hosts a traditional trade fair of Indian goods. The goal of the event is to familiarize people of Kazakhstan with goods traditionally produced in India.
The exhibition showcases the country's jewelry, pieces of furniture, glass figures, and various sorts of tea that guests can get at a reasonable price. Traditional saris and garments also make up the exhibition.
According to the organizer of the event, this type of trade shows has already been tested in many cities of Kazakhstan.
75 companies are featured into the Indian exhibition. These companies are interested in Kazakhstani market. At the exhibition, you can find mostly handmade pieces of furniture, jewels and silk.
The trade fair has been organized by the Indian businessmen with the support of India's diplomatic mission to Kazakhstan and Almaty Akimat.
