Two kindergartens opened in Almaty city

ALMATY. KAZINFORM - Today two new kindergartens have been opened in Almaty city.

Mayor of the city Akhmetzhan Yessimov noted that the kindergarten meet the needs of local residents. Kindergarten №136 is ready to receive 120 children aged 3-7. The two-story building was constructed within one year. Mr.Yessimov recalled that at the request of President Nursultan Nazarbayev the city pays special attention to preschool education. Since the beginning of the year 14 kindergartens have been opened and put into operation in Almaty. Governor stressed that the work in this direction will be continued. Over the past six years in Almaty have been commissioned 40 childcare centers. Moreover, 7 objects preschool education were returned to the municipal property. To date in the city operate 371 objects of preschool education covering 51,772 children. Among them are 175 public, 153 private kindergartens and 43 private mini play schools.
