“I have just read the response from Iran’s so-called ‘Representatives.’ I don’t like it — TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!” Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth Social, without providing further details.

According to Iran’s official IRNA news agency, Tehran’s response to the latest U.S. proposal was delivered through mediator Pakistan on Sunday. The report said the current stage of negotiations is focused on ending hostilities across the region.

At the same time, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said Iran needs to “make it clear” that they do not seek nuclear weapons, which Washington considers a key condition for any potential peace agreement.

Earlier, Qazinform News Agency reported that U.S. President Donald Trump is expected to visit China from May 13 to 15 at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping.
