Tokayev awards cash prizes to Kazakh international Olympiad medalists
President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with winners and medalists of international academic Olympiads, Qazinform News Agency reports, citing Akorda.
Following his remarks, the President presented the gold, silver, and bronze medalists with certificates for cash awards of 1,500, 1,000, and 500 monthly calculation indices (MCI), respectively.
As written before, Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with winners of international Olympiads.
The President said Kazakhstani students took part in 44 international Olympiads and scientific competitions during the year, achieving what he described as an outstanding result.
Tokayev also singled out Kazakhstan’s performance at the International Physics Olympiad, where all five members of the country’s team won gold medals and were named winners of the competition.
Earlier, Qazinform News Agency reported that President Tokayev had presented awards to teachers of winners of international Olympiads.
