‘The story of a soldier’ book dedicated to 70th anniversary of Great Victory presented in Almaty (PHOTO)
ALMATY. KAZINFORM - A book called "The story of a soldier", dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War, has been presented in the city of Almaty.
The book tells about the life of Zeinulla Bayzhasarov, a citizen of Aktogay village, Karaganda region. He has survived the Great Patriotic War. He took part in the battles of seven fronts: Central, Western, Kalinin, Stalingrad, Voronezh, 1st Ukrainian and 1st Byelorussian. He was awarded the medals "For Courage" and "For the defense of Moscow", the Order of the Red Star, the medal "For the Defense of Stalingrad", the II degree Order of the Patriotic War and the medal "For the liberation of Warsaw". Writing the book the authors Amanzhol Urazbayev and Bolat Bayzhasarov used memories of the main hero - Zeinulla Bayzhasarov, his papers and letters, as well as archives of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation. The book is published in 1000 copies.
