Tajikistan strengthens ties with Moody’s to bolster global confidence
Cooperating with the international rating agency Moody’s is playing a key role in reinforcing global financial community trust in Tajikistan’s economy, Khovar reports.
This was highlighted during a meeting in Dushanbe between Daler Murodalizoda, Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan, and Alma Karabasova, Vice President of Moody’s Commercial Group and head of its Central Asian Office.
Discussions focused on bilateral cooperation, the country’s sovereign credit rating, and the current state of the financial sector.
Karabasova presented the Moody’s rating methodology, outlining the main factors shaping credit assessments, including financial and institutional stability, fiscal policy, and potential risks.
It was noted that Moody’s provides rating and analytical services to credit and insurance institutions, helping improve transparency, strengthen risk management, and attract investment into Tajikistan’s financial sector.
Earlier, Qazinform News Agency reported that Kazakhstan is set to create its own national credit rating agencies.
