Tajikistan and Turkmenistan sign 2027-2028 cooperation program
The foreign ministers of Tajikistan and Turkmenistan signed a new cooperation program for 2027–2028, following bilateral talks held in Ashgabat, Qazinform News Agency cites Khovar.
Foreign Affairs Minister of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin and Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Foreign Affairs Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov held talks in restricted and expanded attendance on August 20.
The sides focused on strengthening strategic partnership and expanding cooperation across a wide range of bilateral issues, prospects for the development of and strengthening of strategic partnership between the two nations and outlined concrete steps for further development of close cooperation in a wide range of bilateral issues.
It was earlier reported, Tajikistan and Malaysia agreed to expand cooperation in education and professional training following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Tajikistan’s Ministry of Education and Science and Malaysia’s International Cultural Communication Centre.
