Roof of Almaty school collapses due to heavy snows

ASTANA. January 14. KAZINFORM No one was killed when a part of the roof of a school collapsed in Almaty on Saturday (January 12) following heavy snows in the city, the Kazakh Ministry of Emergencies said.
Heavy snows lashing the city for the past two days probably weakened the roof of the 47-year-old building causing the collapse. The area of damage is 450 square meters.
