President Tokayev approves legislation to protect teachers' rights
Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on Friday signed two laws addressing the status of teachers, Qazinform News Agency reports, citing the Akorda press service.
The Head of State signed the Law "On amendments to certain legislative acts on the status of teachers, education, healthcare, and child rights protection."
President Tokayev also signed the Law "On amendments to the Administrative Offenses Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan concerning the status of teachers."
The texts of the laws will be published in the press.
The main provisions of the laws aim to protect teachers' rights and address certain issues in education and healthcare.
Earlier today, the President of Kazakhstan signed the Law amending certain legislative acts on combating corruption.
