President instructs to develop Almaty agglomeration by 2030
ALMATY. January 20. KAZINFORM - To achieve the goals set by the President, the administration of Almaty city has been instructed by the end of the year to develop a draft strategy for the formation of agglomeration until 2030, this has been announced by the Akim of Almaty Akhmetzhan Yesimov.
"Agglomeration will create a single socio-economic, investment space and social, transport, engineering services'', said the Akim of the city.
According to his words Almaty residents have noted the implementation of the first successes of ''Kazakhstan-2050'' Strategy''.
"Last year's industrial output has increased by 5.5 % and amounted to KZT 613 which is one of the best indicators. The ration of manufacturing output was 78%. In the framework of the Industrialization Map there have being implemented 28 projects worth KZT 522 billion", said A.Esimov.
