President congratulates North Kazakhstan region on 90th anniversary

"Dear participants,

I sincerely congratulate you on the 90th Anniversary of the founding of the North Kazakhstan region!

Over this time, the region has achieved impressive progress in its development, and its history has been enriched with many glorious pages.

Today, northern Kazakhstan is one of the country's major breadbaskets. Our farmers, who are true masters of their craft, make a significant contribution to ensuring the country's food security," the Head of State highlighted.

The President of Kazakhstan highlighted that, alongside agriculture, the region is seeing dynamic growth in manufacturing and mechanical engineering. There are new investment projects taking shape and businesses being launched. All of this, he said, undoubtedly contributes to improving the quality of life and the region's prosperity.

"This sacred land was home to Abylai Khan, known for his wisdom and foresight, who left an indelible mark on history, preserving the unity of the people during a fateful time for our country. The North Kazakhstan region is the birthplace of renowned statesmen and public figures, outstanding cultural and literary figures, labor veterans, many respected individuals, famous athletes, and law enforcement professionals.

As a unified and creative nation, we are successfully implementing large-scale reforms. The New Constitution, which recently came into force, has become the cornerstone of the country's successful development. The fundamental law embodies our people's centuries-old aspirations and timeless values, which will continue to serve as a reliable guide for us in the future.

The region's residents took the most active part in the referendum on the draft Constitution, demonstrating unity and a high sense of responsibility. Representatives of various ethnic groups live in the region in an atmosphere of mutual respect, friendship, peace, and harmony. This bountiful land owes all its achievements to the creative energy of its citizens. I am confident that you will continue to make a substantial contribution to the country's progressive development.

Earlier, the Government allocated 2.7 billion tenge to upgrade water supply in villages of the North Kazakhstan region.
