OSCE experts to assist Majilismen in development of anti-corruption laws
ASTANA. KAZIFORM - The OSCE Office in Astana will help the Majilismen of the Nur Otan Party to develop new anti-corruption laws, Deputy of the Majilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Legal Council of the Nur Otan Party Nurlan Abdirov told within the framework of the meeting of Secretary of State Gulshara Abdykalikova with Head of the OSCE Programs Office in Astana Natalia Zaruda.
"A number of events are planned to be held this year by "Nur Otan". First of all, they are conditioned by the decision of the party to develop laws on combatting corruption, access to information and public control. The OSCE Office in Astana is going to assist us in development of these laws," N. Abdirov said.
According to him, the first event will be held on February 27. One of the themes the deputies and the OSCE Office in Astana are working on now is fighting terrorism. It is planned to analyze the current situation and try to forecast the future development of the situation and recommend a set of the required measures.
