Operational since 1986 pipeline replaced in Almaty
The replacement of the pipeline running along Kurmangazy Street from Pushkin Street to Zenkov Street in Almaty has been completed. The length of the section, which was reconstructed this year, was 305 meters, Kazinform News Agency cites the press service of the city akimat.
The agency has confirmed that the pipeline in question was commissioned in 1986 and currently serves five apartment blocks and four other facilities, providing them with heat and hot water.
“A total of 20 km of heating networks were reconstructed in the city this year at the instructions of the akim of Almaty, Yerbolat Dossayev. The reconstruction is carried out annually during the heating season, with this year's work occurring in six districts of Almaty. The improvement of sites, where reconstruction of heating networks was carried out is conducted gradually, taking into account weather conditions,” the akimat noted.
