Ongoing reforms bolster political competition in the country, says Koshanov
Kazakhstan’s Amanat party hosted the event concluding the contest for the best primary party organization and the best public reception office ahead of the Gratitude Day and Party Day, Kazinform News Agency reports.
The event brought together representatives of all 3,700 primary party organizations and 225 public reception offices via videoconferencing.
Addressing the event, Yerlan Koshanov, Speaker of the Majilis of Kazakhstan, said, ‘primary party organizations are the core of any party, creating their reputation within the general public’.
The ongoing reforms in the country provided a strong impetus to the development of party system and significantly bolstered political competition. Amid the new reality Amanat party has retained its leading position at all levels of government, said Koshanov, hailing the role of primary party organizations in it.
The Kazakh Majilis Speaker also highlighted the high relevance of party-led projects aimed at addressing concrete problems facing Kazakhstanis, including Auyl amanaty, Karyzsyz kogam, Zher amanaty and so on.
So, over 400,000 young people have been provided with jobs, students’ stipends have risen 80%, 270 medical facilities and 254 schools for 375,000 sits have been built as part of Amanat party’s election manifesto.
For instance, the Aksaigazservis primary party organization built 42 homes for those suffered from the devastating floods early last year at their own expense in West Kazakhstan region. Public activists erected a dam spanning 21km in Atyrau region.
By the jury’s decision, Firma Bent from Almaty region, National Children’s Rehabilitation Center from Astana and Bilim zhane Gylym from Shykment were named the best primary party organizations.
Public reception offices of Amanat party’s Turkestan regional branch, Alatau district branch (Almaty), North Kazakhstan regional branch and Kurmangazy district branch (Atyrau region) were found the best.
In addition, 16 activists representing different spheres received Amanat party membership cards.
