Magnitude-4.6 earthquake hits east of Almaty city

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - An earthquake measuring 4.6 on the MPV scale struck China on Tuesday morning sending temblors to Almaty city in Kazakhstan.
The epicenter of the quake was 582 kilometers east of Almaty city. It had a depth of 10 kilometers.
There was no immediate word on any casualties or damage from the quake.
