M7.2 quake recorded off Alaska coast

An earthquake with a magnitude of 7.2 was recorded off the southern coast of Alaska on Wednesday, TASS reported citing the US Geological Survey (USGS).
According to the USGS, the epicenter of the quake was 87 kilometers south of Sand Point city, at a depth of 20.1 kilometers.
No injuries or damages were reported.
Earlier, Kazakh seismologists recorded an earthquake 379 kilometers away from Almaty, in the territory of Kyrgyzstan.
