M4.9 quake hits near Almaty city

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - An earthquake measuring 4.9 on the MPV scale has been registered nearly Almaty city earlier this morning.
The quake hit 407 km southwest of Almaty city and at the depth of 5 km. Its epicenter was located on the territory of Kyrgyzstan.
No casualties or damages were reported.
