Legendary Kazakhstani boxer who went missing found

The legendary Kazakhstani boxer Serik Nurkazov who went missing almost two weeks ago in Almaty has been found, Kazinform News Agency reports.
According to the police, the former European boxing champion was found safe and sound and was reconnected with his family.
Earlier it was reported that Nurkazov had been last seen on December 14 leaving his apartment.
The Almaty police and the Kogam special response unit are working around the clock to bring him home.
The 64-year-old Nurkazov was born in Karaganda region. The legendary Kazakhstani boxer is a silver medalist of the 1983 World Cup, bronze medalist of the 1981 Europe Cup and 1983 Europe champion.
