Kazakhstani women sweep Australia at Asian Volleyball Championship

Kazakhstan's team played its second match at the 2026 AVC Women's Volleyball Continental Championship in Tianjin, China, Qazinform News Agency reports.
According to the National Olympic Committee, the Kazakh squad faced Australia in their group-stage encounter. Kazakhstan won 3-0 (25-21, 25-18, 25-21).
Earlier, in their first match, the Kazakhstani athletes lost to Indonesia (0-3).
The national team will play their next game against Thailand on August 25.
The tournament is organized by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC).
As previously reported, Kazakhstan secured a hard-fought victory over Nepal in a match of the Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA) Men’s Volleyball Championship 2026 in Islamabad, Pakistan.
