Kazakhstani speed skater hauls bronze at World Championship

ALMATY. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstani speed skater Fedyor Mezentsev has collected bronze at the 2nd World Speed Skating Championship among students in Almaty city today, Kazinform has learnt from Vesti.kz.
Mezentsev came third in the Men's 1000m race at the Medeu skating rink. Italian athlete clinched gold by edging a speed skater from Poland who eventually got silver. The 2nd World Speed Skating Championship that brought together athletes from 13 countries kicked off in Almaty on December 18. On Day 1 Team Kazakhstan failed to haul any medals.
