An earthquake was recorded 267km away from Almaty city in the territory of China, Kazinform News Agency reports.
A quake measured 4.4 on the MPV scale was recorded in neighboring China 267km southeast of Almaty city at 3:52pm local time today.
The earthquake hit at a depth of 5km.
