Kazakhstan tops youth team standings at Asian MMA Championships in Vietnam

The Asian Championships for Amateur MMA and Pankration, organized by United World Wrestling (UWW), took place in Da Nang, Vietnam, Qazinform News Agency reports.

Kazakhstan's youth team (under 17) finished first in the overall team standings at the tournament

Asian youth champions from Kazakhstan are Abilmansur Adilgazy (57 kg weight class), Nuralim Aigalin (62 kg), and Amirlan Yerkebulan (100 kg). Lev Von (71 kg) and Malika Salim (53 kg) took silver, while Nurtas Kaliaskar (57 kg) claimed bronze.

It is noted that the results reflect the high level of Kazakhstan's rising generation of athletes, the work of the coaching staff, and the entire team's daily efforts for victory and the development of the sport.

Earlier, Kazakh chess player Bibisara Assaubayeva rose to first place in the overall standings of the FIDE Women’s Circuit 2026–2027.
