Kazakhstan's child mortality decreased 11% for past 3 years
ALMATY. September 27. KAZINFORM "The Kazakh Government renders great support to child health. The Kazakh Health Ministry's budget increased tenfold to reach 4% of the country's GDP," deputy, head of the Socila Council under the Nur Otan faction of the Kazakh Majilis Aitkul Samakova told the VII congress of children's doctors in Almaty.
The congress is purposed to discuss foundation of the country's pediatric service to provide sick children with affordable, high-quality and innovation medical assistance. Leading experts will share practice how to decrease child mortality and morbidity rates and children's incapacitation.
Plenary sessions as part of the congress will focus on the pressing issues of the modern pediatrics, neonatology, oncohematology, physical pathology and pediatric surgery. Pediatric cardiac surgeons and anesthesiologists will inform of the first results of surgical treatment of the most complicated birth heart defects and children's post-operation treatment.
