Kazakhstan names Deputy Defense Minister – Commander-in-Chief of Air Defense Forces

Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev decreed to appoint Kairat Sadykov as the Deputy Defense Minister – Commander-in-Chief of Air Defense Forces, Kazinform News Agency learnt from the Akorda press service.
Kairat Sadykov was born in East Kazakhstan.
He graduated from the Orenburg Higher Anti-Aircraft Missile Command School in 1998, academic courses at the National Defense University in 2010, and Kunayev University in 2013.
Throughout his career served in the country’s military establishment.
Earlier, the Head of State decreed to appoint Ambassador-at-Large of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry Yerkin Tukumov as the Special Representative of Kazakhstan for Afghanistan.
