Kazakhstan-Korean business forum starts in Almaty

The event was organized by the University of KIMEP. Participants of the project include managers of major Korean companies, professors, South Korean government representatives and others. According to the Managing Director of "Damu Entrepreneurship Development Fund" at the present time the trade turnover between Kazakhstan and South Korea is more than USD 1.5 billion. The Korean delegation stressed the importance of partnership with Kazakhstan as our country is the center of the new Silk Road. "Joint Kazakh-Korean business forum held at the University of KIMEP, will play a significant and important role in promoting strong commercial and trade relations between Kazakhstan and Korea," stressed the President of KIMEP University Dr. Chan Young Bang.
