Kazakhstan announces full team roster for 2026 Winter Olympics

The National Olympic Committee and the Ministry of Tourism and Sport have announced the full list of the athletes, who will represent Kazakhstan at the 2026 Winter Olympic Games in Milan, Italy, Qazinform News Agency reports.

Biathlon: Vladislav Kireyev, Asset Dyussenov, Milana Geneva, Aisha Rakysheva

Speed Skating: Yevgeny Koshkin, Kristina Silayeva, Elizaveta Golubeva, Nadezhda Morozova, Arina Ilyashchenko.

Short-Track: Abzal Azhgaliyev, Denis Nikisha, Olga Tikhonova, Yana Khan.

Figure Skating: Mikhail Shaidorov, Sofya Samodelkina.

Freestyle Aerials: Dinmukhammed Raiymkulov, Sherzod Khashirbayev, Roman Ivanov, Assylkhan Assan, Ayana Zholdas.

Freestyle Mogul: Yuliya Galysheva, Ayaulym Amrenova, Anastassiya Gorodko, pavel Kolmakov.

Alpine Skiing: Aleksandra Skorokhodova, Rostislav Khokhlov.

Cross-country Skiing: Nadezhda Stepashkina, Xeniya Shalygina, Anna Melnik, Darya Ryazhko, Amirgali Muratbekov, Vitaly Pukhkalo, Nail Bashmakov.

Ski Jumping: Ilya Mizernykh, Danil Vassilyev.

Nordic Combined: Chingiz Rakparov.

16-year-old Assan Assylkhan is the youngest athlete of the team, while 33-year-old Abzal Azhgaliev and Yuliya Galysheva are the most experienced team members.

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev handed over the State Flag to the flag bearers of the national Olympic and Paralympic teams today.
