Kazakhstan and Greece strengthen diplomatic and energy ties

In Astana, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Yerzhan Ashikbayev met with Ambassador of the Hellenic Republic Antonia Katzourou to review the state of Kazakh–Greek relations and outline future cooperation, Qazinform News Agency cites the Kazakh Foreign Ministry.

Both sides focused on the Caspian Pipeline Consortium, stressing the importance of uninterrupted oil exports, secure energy supplies, and freedom of maritime navigation and cooperation on international platforms and forums.

They also reviewed the upcoming events scheduled through the end of 2026.

In her turn, Ambassador Katzourou reaffirmed Greece’s readiness to expand collaboration in trade, investment, transport, and humanitarian initiatives.

The meeting concluded with an agreement to maintain regular political dialogue and deepen the Kazakh–Greek partnership across all areas of mutual interest.
