Kazakhstan and Canada pledge stronger political, trade, and economic ties

The parties discussed bilateral cooperation between Kazakhstan and Canada in the political, trade, economic, and legal areas.

Special attention was paid to high-level contacts and issues of multilateral cooperation.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue efforts to expand bilateral interaction.

Earlier, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev sent a congratulatory telegram to the  Governor General of Canada, Louise Arbour.
