Kazakh parliamentarians to hand over N. Nazarbayev's message to Angela Merkel

The issues regarding the upcoming trip of the Parliament delegation of the Majilis to Germany were discussed at the meeting. The purpose of the visit is to hand over the address of the President of Kazakhstan to Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel about the promotion of the candidature of Kazakhstan to permanent members of the Security Council of the UN for 2017-2018. Attaching a great importance to this visit the Deputy Chairperson of the Majilis noted that Germany and Kazakhstan had always been reliable partners. Bilateral relations between our countries are characterized by stable political dialogue, expansion of trade and economic relations and cultural and humanitarian cooperation. "Our countries have similar vision in terms of the global security, development of partnership relations, cooperation in social, economic and cultural spheres. We will be glad to discuss all these issues during our visit to Germany," D. Nazarbayeva said. In turn, the German Ambassador told that Germany supported the main international initiatives of Kazakhstan and expressed its interest in cooperation with Kazakhstan. Having outlined the priorities of the partnership, the sides agreed to strengthen the relations between the countries in the future including inter-parliamentarian relations.
