Kazakh Bibisara Assaubayeva tops FIDE Women’s Circuit Ranking

Kazakh chess player Bibisara Assaubayeva has risen to first place in the overall standings of the FIDE Women’s Circuit 2026–2027, Qazinform News Agency reports.

Triumph of Bibisara Assaubayeva at the prestigious Norway Chess Women 2026 tournament secured her leadership. In the updated rankings, she surpassed China’s Zhu Jiner and India’s Vaishali Rameshbabu.

Uzbek grandmaster Nodirbek Abdusattorov maintains the lead in the FIDE Circuit 2026–2027, followed by compatriot Javokhir Sindarov and American Fabiano Caruana.

The FIDE Circuit is a key qualification route for Candidates Tournaments, where top players earn the chance to compete for the World Championship match.
