Kazakh and Dutch businessmen discuss prospects of coop
ALMATY. KAZINFORM - Measures to promote direct contacts between Dutch and Kazakh entrepreneurs have been discussed in Almaty at the round table themed "Kazakhstan-Netherlands: Prospects for business partnership".
The meeting also announced the creation of the Kazakh-Dutch Business Council which first meeting was held yesterday in Astana. The event was attended by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Kazakhstan Hans Drisser, honorary professor of Almaty Management University, Senator of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the former chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Rene van der Linden, Rector of Alma University Assylbek Kozhakhmetov, Advisor to the Ministry of Economic Affairs of the Netherlands, President of the Eurasian Association of franchising Beknur Kissikov, as well as domestic and foreign entrepreneurs. During the meeting Dutch businessmen briefly highlighted the activities of their companies, as well as prospects for the development of economic sectors in their country. H.Drisser expressed willingness to visit the campus of Alma University and lecture its students and faculty members.
