Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulates President of Portugal on National Day
Head of State has sent a telegram of congratulations to the President of Portugal, Qazinform News Agency learned from the Akorda press service.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated António José Martins Seguro and Portuguese people on the National Day – the Day of Portugal.
In his message, the President of Kazakhstan emphasized that Portugal's election as a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council for 2027-2028, on the eve of this significant celebration, serves as a vivid example of a high international trust and recognition of the country’s important role in strengthening global peace and security.
The Head of State expressed confidence that multifaceted cooperation between the two countries will continue to for the benefit of both nations. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev wished the President of Portugal success in his responsible duties and extended his wishes of well-being and prosperity to the Portuguese people.
Earlier, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated King Abdullah II ibn Al-Hussein and the people of Jordan on the occasion of the country’s national holiday, the King’s Accession to the Throne Day.
