Int'l conference marks 550th anniversary of Kazakh khanate
ALMATY. KAZINFORM - Presentation of Dzhami at-tavarikh book penned by Kazakhstani researcher and Doctor of Philology Rabiga Syzdykova was held on Friday in Almaty city within the framework of the celebration of the 550th anniversary of the Kazakh khanate.
The presentation took place as part of the international conference themed The Kazakh khanate and Kazakhstan: ideas and historical ties. Participants of the conference suggested inviting historians from Kazakhstan, Turkey, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan to celebrate the historic milestone and discuss the problems of the Kazakh khanate and Turkic history. "The Kazakh khanate plays important role in the Turkic history. In this context, it is crucial to promote the jubilee of the Kazakh khanate in neighboring Turkic-speaking countries and at international level," president of the International Turkic Academy Darkhan Kydyrali said.
