Innovation cluster in Almaty must become leader in Central Asia - A. Issekeshev

ALMATY. KAZINFORM - Almaty Tech Garden must become a leading startup-hub in Central Asia and one of the leaders in the CIS, Minister of Investment and Development of Kazakhstan Asset Issekeshev told at the opening of the Kazakhstani stage of the Startup-tour 2015.
"The main principle is in its open ecosystemic approach to become a leading startup-hub in Central Asia and one of the leaders in the CIS. We have priorities for this purpose, though, they are quite wide now, but I believe there will be any certain specialization soon," A. issekeshev said.
According to him, there are a lot of opportunities in Almaty. Over one thousand online businesses have been launched in this city over the recent year.
