The program, which began earlier this month and was formally announced Monday, is being carried out in collaboration with Japan Airlines.

Oriental Land said the effort is designed to promote the effective use of resources and raise public awareness of SAF. The company emphasized that air travel is indispensable for many visitors to its theme parks, making aviation sustainability a natural focus of its environmental strategy.

Earlier, Qazinform News Agency reported that airline industry profitability had halved amid the Middle East disruptions and rising fuel costs.
