French President Emmanuel Macron arrives in Kazakhstan for official visit

Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov welcomed the high guest at the Airport of Astana, Kazinform News Agency cites the Telegram channel of the Kazakh Government.
During a short conversation, Smailov expressed confidence that the French President’s visit will give a new impetus to further development of the strategic partnership between Astana and Paris.
The two countries' leaders - Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Emmanuel Macron - are expected to discuss the issues of strengthening trade-economic, investment and energy cooperation, as well as international and regional issues.
