Five people named Atom live in Kazakhstan
According to the latest data, there are five Kazakhstanis named Atom. The youngest is just three years old, while the eldest is 66, Kazinform News Agency cites the Kazakh National Statistics Bureau.
They live in Akmola and Kostanay regions as well as in the cities of Almaty and Astana.
Besides, there are people with names consisting of two words such as Atomzhan (2), Atombek (6), Atomvek (2) and one Atomtai.
80% of these people are above 47 years old and live in 11 regions of Kazakhstan.
There are no people named Referendum in Kazakhstan, it said in a statement.
Earlier, the Kazakh National Statistics Bureau announced the Top 10 popular names in 2023 in Kazakhstan.
As of July 1, 2024, Kazakhstan’s population stood at 20,159,707 people, up 125,867 since the beginning of the year.
