According to him, the process of allocating land plots for construction is currently underway.

“We are directly involved in the overall implementation, and electricity will be supplied through the national power grid. At the initial stage, this will amount to 300 megawatts, and there are no issues,” he said.

The first facilities are expected to come online in the data center valley in early 2027.

“By that point, the project will be supported by a stable and uninterrupted power supply,” the vice minister added.

Earlier, Qazinform News Agency reported that President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, speaking at the second meeting of the AI Development Council, suggested focusing on the integration of artificial intelligence into the industrial sector at the next session.
