First 30 renovated railway stations to open in Kazakhstan by July 1

The first 30 modernized railway stations will be commissioned countrywide by July 1, Kazakh Transport Minister Nurlan Sauranbayev told the Government meeting, Qazinform News Agency reports.
Renovation works were held as part of the largest railway infrastructure modernization program.
The project, kicked off last year, covers 124 railway stations across Kazakhstan. Local executive bodies are responsible for landscaping the territories around the railway stations.
He announced the first 30 renovated railway stations will be put into service by July 1.
