Earthquake strikes 35 km from Almaty

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - A 4.3 MVP earthquake has hit the territory of Kazakhstan February 9 at1:00 35 minutes Almaty time (7:35 GMT).
A group of seismologic stations registered the quake at 01:35 a.m. local time with the epicenter 35 km south of Almaty city in Kyrgyzstan. Earthquake's energy class - 8.9. There was no immediate word on the tremors. No casualties were reported.
