Earthquake hits 364 km from Almaty

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - The Network of Seismic Stations of the Ministry of Education and Science recorded an earthquake at 06:44 a.m. Almaty time on May 8, Kazinform reports.
"The epicenter of the earthquake was located in China, 364 km south of Almaty," the report said.
The energy class of the earthquake was 11.1. MPV magnitude: 5.0. The depth of focus was 10 km.
