Canteen catches fire in Almaty

ALMATY. KAZINFORM - A canteen has caught fire in Almaty city today, according to spokesman of the Almaty emergency department Nurbek Kozhakhan.
According to reports, the fire started around 14:00 p.m. and engulfed the Kaganat canteen situated at the intersection of Seifullin Street and Nauryzbai Batyr Street. Firefighters summoned to the scene needed half an hour to put out the blaze. No casualties were reported. A special commission is to determine the cause of fire.
