Astana hosts Kazakhstani-French art exhibition
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Joint exhibition of Kazakhstani and French artists has kicked off in Astana, Kazinform has learnt from astana.gov.kz.
It is somewhat the continuation of Art Capital-2014 exhibition held at Grand Palais in Paris, France this November. Yoann Yures, the cultural attaché of the French Embassy in Kazakhstan, said, the exhibition demonstrates close relations between Kazakhstan and France. One can visit the exhibition at Autocenter Bavaria (BMW Center) at 35, Kabanbay Batyr Avenue. The exhibition is due to run till January 19, 2015. Enjoying close partnership, Astana and Paris are trying to develop not only economic cooperation but also cultural exchange. For instance, Paris hosted the Days of Astana from October 31 till November 3 this year. A monument to the French general and the founder of the Fifth Republic Charles de Gaulle was unveiled in the Kazakh capital on December 12.
