Anthology of modern Kazakh literature presented in Almaty

The edition was presented in Almaty at the S. Begalin State Children's Library to the city universities' students and faculty members.

The anthology in English was published with the support of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Yerlan Idrisov; it was compiled by Rafiz Abazov, a professor of Columbia University, and translated by Sergei Levshin and Ilya Bernstein. "This is the first joint publication of the M.Auezov Institute of Literature and Art and Columbia University"- the presentation's prganizers noted.

The presentation also exhibited books, which were translated as part of the anthology.
