According to Sabit Kamitbekuly, director of the Central State Museum, the exhibition is intended to preserve the memory of the war heroes through visual images and personal stories. Each photograph, he noted, tells the fate of a person who made a significant contribution to the victory.

"This war affected every Kazakh family. Our soldiers fought for victory with unwavering courage, while those on the home front worked tirelessly—from children to the elderly. That is why this victory holds special significance for the Kazakh people. Even though it has been 80 years since the end of the war, we still don’t know enough about our history, especially military personnel. In this regard, it is necessary to prepare encyclopedias and reference books," said Sabit Kamitbekuly.

Among the exhibits are a fragment of the wall of the Brest Fortress, personal awards of pilot-shooter Junior Sergeant Bakhturaz Beisekbayev, photo documents from the personal archives of T. Bigeldinov, S. Lugansky, M. Gabdullin, S. Nurmagambetov, A. Khusainov, T. Kaumbayev, and other figures.
